Bonjour!

6th of August!

First day of class! Left from house with a heart beating really fast, mixed emotions! Being the first day of class and the  location quite a new one, dad came along. I reached the gate! The time was 5mins to 6..from the gate I could see a really tall guy(possibly above 6ft.!) coming running all the way! Being curious..dad asked,"what happened?" He replied,"I forgot my Identity card! ". I quickly opened my bag to check if I had it! Huh! Gladly I had it! Dad dropped me till the classroom.

As I entered I could see a bunch of people sitting! Around 10 or something! By now my heartbeat had come to normal. There was a lady standing in front of the class.(possibly the teacher herself! :O)She announced that she was passing a sheet and we had to check our details printed in it! Juili Keny..contact number…address…email-id..CHECK! ALL OK!
The teacher started counting the number of students…un deux trios quatre cinq..n so onn…! Until then everyone was looking at all possible things around! Lights..fans..windows…door…the train that was visible outside the window! Everything possible except people around! Slowly, when eyes turned towards each other I found people smiling at each other! That really warm smile! As if each one was saying "Welcome to the class".
And now the teacher began…"Je m’appelle Anupa Kumar".
Mme.Anupa Kumar

As I had studied a little of French before I had an idea of what she was saying! She said her name was Anupa  Kumar. A really sweet lady indeed! Possibly one of the sweetest person I have met till date! She continued "vous vous appelez comment?" which meant What is your name? And the class began! Everyone started introducing their selves! It was called "présentez – vous"! As there were less number of students it was easy to memorize everyone’s names. We had to memorize because every now and then Mme.Anupa Kumar asked us "Elle s’appelle  comment? Il s’appelle
comment?" which meant "What is her name? What is his name? " All this while everyone was busy learning French..me too..:P
Just then I saw the girl sitting ahead, she was busy on bbm and ofcourse talking to her neighbor too!! I thought she was from my college! I asked her…"excuse me are you from RUIA..?" With a question marked face she said,"who me? No I am from S.I.E.S."I smiled and said,"okay! I thought you were from RUIA! There is a girl very similar in RUIA"…She smiled and said,"oh really? No but I am from S.I.E.S. My name is Jyothi and yours?" I told her my name. She turned back with a new question, I replied to her questions but of course along with another question to increase the conversation!
We realized that we were youngest ones in the class. Everyone else was elder to us. Some of them were working, some of them were pursuing their last year and some had completed their exams recently and were waiting for their results!
So that was my first day in french class! A really simple one yet heart warming! My new journey  began with  new friends! But on the first day it was just a friend! Jyothi  Iyer Mahadevan! We sat together for rest all the days! Till today we sit together! We talk a lot during the class! The 2 hours are really less for us. We have so much to talk about. Our  talks are endless. We are picked up every now and then for talking!
Jyothi and Me

As time passed we all became friends! We have that unity in class! the atmosphere, the people around are just so perfect there! All of us are friends irrespective of our ages!
Well, Jyothi and I had a new member too! The same tall guy who I saw on the first day! Jazib Farid! We call ourselves "The Awesome Threesome" we have the best times together! One of the best things I have done in my life is joining the French class! I wait eagerly throughout the day for clock to hit 6! So that I can leave for class!
That really tall guy:Jazib Farid, Mme Anupa Kumar, Me and Jyothi.

              Merci! Bonjour!
